Description
Dell EMC’s PowerEdge servers are now 15th generation, with more choices than ever before, with 17 new and updated systems in the latest lineup. In particular, the tower server has been revised and the PowerEdge T550 has replaced the proven T640.
As you can imagine, the T550 is based on Intel’s 3rd generation Ice Lake platform. Our system had a 2.1GHz 12-core Xeon Silver 4310 CPU, but the motherboard can support two processors with a TDP of up to 220W. This means you can use up to 32 cores of CPU.
